WHERE IS THE FEST?
Due to the nature of DIY spaces and events, and the ever-widening crackdown on these autonomous spaces, we prefer to keep the exact address offline publicly, but will happily discuss the location if you email or DM us on Instagram. You will receive the location once your ticket is purchased via the website for ticket purchases beginning Saturday June 1st.
If you have never been to Prototype Collective before, here are a couple things to know:
- TO GET TO THE FEST: Please try and carpool or otherwise use public transportation. or ride-shares to get to and from the fest. You can park at any Park & Ride station on the RTA Red Line (which goes directly to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport if you are flying in) and take any Red Line RTA train (link to PDF for train schedule) to the West Blvd-Cudell Station and it is less than a block away. A non-PDF link to the schedule for the train is here.
- The Red Line runs from the airport West to East with the last stop being the Stokes-Windermere Station in East Cleveland, and vice-versa. Fares begin at $2.50 per trip, but you can buy a day pass for $5, along with many other options. The last Eastbound train on Saturdays departs the West Blvd-Cudell Station at 1:39 AM. The last Westbound train on Saturdays departs the West Blvd-Cudell Station at 12:52 AM.
- DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE BUILDING. That space is reserved, you will get towed.
- If parking nearby, please do so at the West Blvd-Cudell RTA Station, which is on the north side of Detroit Ave, near the intersection of West Blvd, Cudell Ave and W 101st Street, or use street parking on Detroit Ave or West Blvd.
- Enter the building from the back door. Show is on the 5th Floor and is accessible by stairs. The fest Instagram will have a video and photo guide to accessing the venue soon. If you are not able to walk up stairs or have other mobility/accessibility issues, contact us and we will arrange for you to use an elevator that is not available to the general public.
- Absolutely no graffiti, littering, outside drinking, or any other generally stupid behavior in the nearby neighborhood will be tolerated. You will be banned from the fest immediately if you disrespect the neighborhood and compromise the safety and sustainability of this space with the surrounding community.
WHEN DOES THE FEST START & END?
Doors will open at 7:30 PM on Friday 10/11/2024, sets will begin at 8:00 PM, and we will end the show by 12:00 AM.
Doors will open at 2:30 PM on Saturday 10/12/2024, sets will begin at 3:00 PM, and we will end the show by 12:00 AM.
On Satuday there will be 5 blocks of 4 acts, with 5-10 minute breaks between acts, and a 20 minute break between blocks. Plenty of time to stretch your legs, go outside, go to the bathroom, and socialize with fellow noise maniacs!
WHERE CAN I STAY?
YES! We will be taking pizza orders at the end of the first, second, and third blocks and distributing pizzas or slices at the "bar" area - we will do our best to accommodate topping requests. You're welcome to bring your good but please be advised for this event we ask that NO outside food that is not vegetarian or vegan be brought inside the venue.
CAN I VEND AT THE FEST?
YES! We will have options of half-tables for $40 and full-table for $80. Please contact us to discuss vending. Purchasing a full table for vending space will include entry for 1 person. Discounted entry will be available for those purchasing a half-table or any full-table vendor needing a second person for your table.WHAT IF I WANT TO HELP WITH THE FEST IN A VOLUNTEER ROLE?
